Why Polarizing Opinions Are Crucial to Marketing (Pt 2)

How do you identify your strong point of view?

There’s way too much generic content on LinkedIn. So, how do you stand out?

Stand out by sharing your polarizing opinion.

Not sure what I mean by that?

Check out my other videos and blog posts. I’ve been doing a whole series on this topic. But today, let’s focus on how you actually figure out what your polarizing opinion is.

How do you identify your strong point of view?

A great place to start is by asking yourself: What are the “shoulds” in your industry?

  • The things that really get you fired up are often the topics you feel most passionate about.
  • And guess what? Those are the topics that should turn into your content.
  • Especially video content.

Don’t be afraid to plant your flag every now and then.

Let people see where you stand.

If you don’t, you’ll just blend in with all the other safe opinions out there.

Don’t hold yourself back from being a little polarizing.
