Here’s a small but powerful way to keep your viewership numbers UP.


It’s something I’ve learned after creating hundreds of thought leadership videos.


Your background matters.


If people keep seeing the same background over and over, their brains start to tune it out.


When your video pops up in their feed, they’ll think, “Oh, I’ve seen this before,” and scroll right past without a second thought.


Why? Because the human brain craves variety.


So, mix it up!


Today, I’m sitting by the river downtown. But for you, it could be as simple as switching up where you film:

  • Your office
  • At home
  • Outside in the shade


If you want to keep those views consistently high, changing your background is an easy, effective way to keep things fresh and engaging.
