You probably aren't thinking enough
If there’s 1 thing you probably weren’t doing enough of in 2025, it’s thinking.
As a founder, we have so many things we need to DO, we often don’t have time to just THINK.
We get tied up:
→ making sales calls
→ answering emails
→ leading meetings
And we actually spend a shockingly small amount of time just thinking about our business, and especially our content.
When I first started getting serious about creating consistent content for LinkedIn, I committed to dedicating half a day every Thursday to just thinking.
I’d put the phone away, turn the notifications off, and go over everything that happened that week.
→ I’d go over client conversations.
→ I’d synthesize the research I’d done.
→ I’d ask myself questions about what I want to do better, where I want the business to go.
→ I’d let all the knowledge I gained just bounce around my head and come up with more ideas.
Eventually, I realized half a day wasn’t enough.
I started dedicating the whole day (aka 1/5th of the entire workweek) to content creation.
Because I knew creating content was the key to getting results and growing my business.
Now, I’m not saying that everyone needs to start blocking off an entire workday to make content.
But I am saying that you won’t find success on LinkedIn if you don’t post consistently.
And you can’t post consistently if you don’t give yourself time to think deeply about your business.
