Most B2B Founders Don't Realize This

Most B2B founders don’t realize authenticity is more professional than polish.

When people hear the word “professional,” they think of suits and ties, dress clothes, and briefcases.

They feel the need to act in this very refined (and frankly stiff) way.

And this seeps into how they view video content.

They want their video content to be polished.

They want it to be perfect.

Because they feel like the quality of the video reflects the quality of their product.

(and they’re worried an unpolished video will hurt their company’s reputation.)

But here’s the thing you have to realize about B2B: True professionals are authentic.

→ They’re honest.

→ They’re level with their clients.

→ They use real language everyone understands.

All of those things are 10x more important than being polished.

When it comes to getting sales, you want to build a likeability and relatability factor.

You’re not going to build that factor if you equate professionalism ONLY with polish.

Video content is designed to unlock an authentic connection between the creator and the consumer.

At EOD, the polish of your presentation doesn’t matter, as long as you can deliver value to the other person.

That’s what gives your business a good reputation.
