Don't edit
Editing is probably the reason you're not doing video right now.
→ It takes forever.
→ It’s a bunch of complicated software to learn.
→ And it’s a technique you need to master.
I've heard it said by smarter people than me: If you don't plan to be in editing full-time, don't even bother.
That's why I don't even edit my own videos
I work with amazing editors like Abdel, Jordan, and Cannon to handle it for me and my clients.
Instead of stressing over what editing software you should use, delegate the heck out of that as soon as you can.
(you don’t do your own accounting. don’t do your own editing)
The most important thing you need in video content isn’t fancy editing.
It’s having a clear, concise message. Every time.
You’re not trying to make a movie or impress anyone with your editing skills.
You’re sharing valuable, simple content. One topic per video. That’s it.
Focus on what you do best, and let someone else handle the editing.
(unless you have absolutely no money to put toward it)
It’s about getting better at what you know, not learning a skill that won’t move the needle long-term.
