My Instagram Origins
Now you probably know me as the LinkedIn video guy, but I actually started on Instagram.
Fall 2022: I had a founder approach me wanting to do video.
I’d just come across Riverside, which is a great platform that lets you do remote video recordings with high-quality footage and audio.
So we booked a session for 30 minutes, asked him a bunch of questions about what he did, and recorded it all.
BTW, this guy was a broker.
And he was actually the #1 broker in LA.
And even though the video on his webcam wasn’t that great, when his team posted the video to his Instagram profile, he went from 100 views on average to 1,000-5,000 views per video that included him.
That was the moment that made me realize.
Hey, there’s a viable business here.
People want to hear from founders, not companies.
And that was the start of Dialog Video Marketing.
