How founders can make content on-the-go
I hear this all the time from founders: “Yeah, I want to do thought leadership, I just don’t have anything to say.”
You might think you don’t have anything to share. But you do.
In fact, you’re already sharing content-worthy insights 24/7.
You and I spend so much time giving tips, tricks, & mindset shifts in 1-on-1 conversations.
Think about your past few podcasts, sales calls, team meetings, and coffee brunches.
We're always sharing, thinking, and processing out loud.
That’s all good content going to waste.
One of my favorite ways of capturing that content these days is the sawdust method.
I make sure to pay attention to what I'm saying and write it down if I'm in a call.
(or I use this helpful tool called Fathom if I’m in a sales call)
On a podcast, it’s even easier because I’ve already got the transcript & clips on hand.
Everything I say on a podcast, I can repurpose. It’s the most organic way to come up with topic ideas because people are having conversation with you, asking you the most pressing questions they have.
(which hey, are often the same questions your clients or prospective buyers have)
So you aren’t only creating easy, digestible content. You’re creating content that’s very relevant to your audience.
Once you start using the sawdust method & capturing more of your daily conversations, you’ll be shocked at how much content you can produce.
