90% of People are Missing This
Here’s what 90% of people are missing when it comes to their LinkedIn profile.
They aren’t using their featured section correctly.
Most people throw up their most popular posts.
(maybe a glowing customer testimonial or two)
But you HAVE to be more direct than that.
Your featured section is prime real estate for succinct CTAs.
Things like…
→ Booking a call
→ Signing up for your newsletter
→ Taking a course you made
Of course, some people accidentally make their CTAs too long.
Pro tip: When you make a featured section image, don’t put anything in the description.
All you need to do is upload a graphic and a title.
Then, it’ll send people directly to your link.
If you write a description, it’ll make a pop-up appear, and then people will have to click on ANOTHER button to get to your link.
You lose a surprising amount of customers with that added friction.
Don’t ask me why LinkedIn does it like that, I have 0 clue.
Luckily, from years of being on the platform, I’ve learned that workaround, and I hope it helps you like it’s helped me.
